I don't know why those last two pictures on my previous post are posting crooked, and it's really aggravating me! Maybe I'll figure it out....
This picture is proof that Disney isn't always the happiest place on earth. At least, not when you have an 8-yer-old who thinks they're too grown to enjoy the It's A Small World ride (and the long line didn't help.)
Amelia, however, didn't mind taking a rest wherever she fell! And she loved It's a Small World!
Up next was Splash Mountain!
We didn't want the whole boutique experience, but with a little pixie dust....Bibbidi, Bobbidi, Boop! The girls became Princesses!
After we ate lunch, we split up. Andy, Si, and Mere went off to ride more rides Amelia and I walked around checking out the sights! We watched as Elsa transformed the castle into ice for the holidays! When the others joined us, we watched the 2nd show as well.
We had a very late fast pass for Space Mountain, so we hung around until our time (10:45!). I wasn't sure that Amelia would ride it when I saw that she wouldn't be able to sit right next to me. She surprised me and said she'd be fine as long as I could touch her shoulders. :-)
As we were leaving, I tried to get the kids' picture made in front of the castle, and as you'll see, that didn't turn out that well. After taking this picture, it was literally less than a minute and Amelia was asleep in her stroller. It was a long, but fun first day at Disney!
