I just have to admit that I'm a very bad blogger. My life has just become too busy to take the time to even post more than a few pictures at one time (which is what I do on Facebook). I am NOT giving up though. I want to look back and for my kids to look back one day and see that I did try!
Our 3rd day at Disney was spent at Hollywood Studios. On the way in we spotted this truck and had to make a picture stop for Paw Paw!
We had an early fast pass for Tower of Terror. There wasn't a very long wait so Andy and the 2 big ones did it for a second time. I'm so upset that we don't have the picture from the ride where Amelia and I were on it. Can you believe that this was Amelia's favorite ride? She said the people (the ghosts) on the ride scared her, but not the actual ride. I personally loved it and would've enjoyed doing it again!
Up next was the Rockin' Roller Coaster, but Amelia wasn't tall enough for that so she and I sat that one out. It also had a short wait time so Andy and Si did that one again. Even though Mere said she liked it, I think it was a little too much for her to do a second time.
Our Disney trip was definitely what you'd call "character-centered." We are all about riding some rides, but when I saw a line that wasn't ridiculous, I'd make sure the girls were able to get autographs and pictures taken. Silas wouldn't have his picture taken...and it wasn't because he hates having his picture made. You see that he didn't mind them while we were at Disney, but he's just a little too "cool" to be having his picture taken with a big mouse (or whoever it may be at the time).
I had to snap this pic...it's what Mere spent a lot of time doing :-)
Overall the kids were really good, and can't you just feel the love between them?! Wouldn't it be great if they were like that all the time?
It was funny when Mere said she had never seen "one of those!"
Si was excited to be walking into the Indiana Jones stunt show!
Silas likes to remind me that Ms. Sonia (his teacher) has told him that I NEED to take him to Starbucks...he's a deprived child because he'd never been. So we made his first trip to Starbucks one to remember...at Disney World!!
This year is the last year that the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights will be at Disney World, and I'm so glad that we were able to see it. It was amazing!
